I have seen speculation on the ages of The Backyardigans that varies over a good range, from preschoolers to even teenagers. I think there are a few ways to go at this, from the bare "what does documentation say" to "how do they think and act and talk", etc...

How do Tyrone's pockets work? Are they just built into his legs?

Is he wearing pants that are the same color as his coat (hair/fur)?

Is it like how marsupials have pouches?

Just stumbled upon these for the first time unexpectedly when looking for some other merch... I never knew any VCDs (Video CDs) were produced for the series. I would probably buy one for the novelty, but not for quality... supposedly 240/288p depending on the region.

I see Backyardigans condensed down into many different sequences of two or three letters to represent it in shortform...

I usually stick to BYG myself as it feels like the letters that get pronounced the most strongly in the word- BackYardiGans.

BKY was also used more on the production side of ...

Has anyone bought one of these yet? I keep eyeing them, and they can be made in any size apparently, from newborn to adult they state. They look pretty cool and well enough made, and I can see myself putting one on in the winter. 8-)
